As a part of our transition training programs, our Independent Living Skill TrainingĀ program brings together individuals with disabilities to work on skills related to independent living,Ā focuses on imparting essential day-to-day living skills to students. Each minicamp session guides students through practical experiences, like shopping, meal preparation, as well as public transportation and exercising.Ā
We believe in the inherent abilities inside individuals with disabilities. Regardless of varying functional levels among people with developmental disabilities, we consider independent living skills as fundamental pillars supporting their adult lives. The level of independent living skills directly correlates with the quality of adult life they can achieve. These skills empower individuals to lead more self-reliant and fulfilling lives as adults.
Our approach to the transition process emphasizes proactive living skill training, including self-care, independent living and community integration skills. Through this approach, we aim to equip individuals with the skills and support they need to lead productive lives, contribute to their communities and potentially have employment opportunities.

Stay tuned for more updates on upcoming programs and initiatives as we continue to empower individuals with disabilities in our community. Together, we’re breaking down barriers and building brighter futures!
