Community out & about

Community Out & About is a series of in-person events that run every month or on social / cultural occasions. It brings people with IDD and their families / caregivers together to foster mutual support, friendship, and community-building.

This community support circle also builds a volunteer network among typically developed youth, including siblings, high schoolers, college students and college grads. Project Ready believes this network will promote awareness, compassion and support among typically developed youth.

I advocate because
I want our children to have all the great opportunities anyone else has.
I want them to feel loved and accepted for who they are.
I want them to grow up and feel proud to be themselves.
